Ahh, Winters in Bend, OR...gotta love it!!

The window sill pic is frost from the inside of the master bathroom. Do you think I dilly daddled in there?

They icycles remind me of when my mother would knock the icycles down from the roof in Anchorage when we lived there. They are really sharp and dangerous.

This is what the snow in our yard looks like right no. There are deer and rabbit tracks in it. I don't think they show in the picture, tho'.

A few nights ago when it was 0 degrees, I decided to go hot tubbing in our 104 degree water. This is a steamy look across the tub from where I was sitting.

Feel like playing in the snow? Come on up!!!

Baby it looks cold outside, but so beautiful. I clicked on the pic and enlarged it and could see the little tracks across the yard.
I guess your going to have a white christmas. I am going to have a rainy one. Although we will be at Kathleens and they got some snow last week, so we will keep our fingers crossed.
I wish I could come up there for a while.

Burrrrr..... I could not believe the frost inside your bathroom window, and 0 degree!!!! Give me sweat rolling down my forehead, give me 110 degree days with sidewalks so hot you can't go barefoot. I would not survive in the cold. It has been about 40 degrees some mornings here. To go on my morning walks at 5:30 am, I wear jeans and two pair of sweat pants, two long sleeve shirts, a hooded sweat shirt, a heavy coat, gloves, a scarf around my head and neck, plus I stuff cotton in my ears! I guess I kind of waddle instead of walk but I go at a fast pace for a distance of two miles. You see, I do not like to be cold.
It has been snowing in Paradise. (Bob has an office in Paradise and Chico.)
Sorry you couldn't make it down but I was thinking the weather might be a problem since we were having snow so low here.
Merry Christmas!!

About Me

United States
At the present, I would describe myself first, as a child of God and follow with wife, mother, grandmother, friend, nurse and invisible woman. If you are female age 50 or above, most likely you understand my invisibility. I've always understood my mortality, it's the loss of youthfulness I grieve. I was born in NV and raised in CA (a latch-key kid). I presently reside in central OR, a lovely place to live, but leaves me lonely for my dear friends & too far from my family. I know the love of a good man. I'm the mother of 3 wonderful adult children & Grammy to two (my "adorables"), and "Nana" to a "bonus" of 5. Nursing has been my profession for 25 yrs. I believe that politics is corrupt & that we we're living in serious times. There you have it, the sum of my 56 yrs with hopes that I've made some kind of difference on this earth for the Master.
