This week

Wednesday, we had a visit from Lester and Leona Bennett. Lester is the pastor who baptized me. I love this couple dearly. The evening of their visit, Gary and I went to our grandson, Dylan's first jv football game. It was fun and something to do. So, I'll post a pic of the Bennetts and a pic of Dylan with his brother Shay.

WOw, you posted before me. Good job. The Bennets look so sweet together.
We were gone this weekend, I wasn't able to get online. Lawren kept Grandma and PaPa busy. Yesterday we just vegged at home. I worked on my quilts and watch football. I hate football, why am I watching it?

When we went to Grandson Dylan's football game, I kind of liked it. But, don't tell Gary. That will be all we'll see on TV. CAn you imagine??? Oh, my!

Helen Ida,

Emily posted a comment on my blog in regards to quilting. I went to her myspace and saw her quilts but can't leave a comment because I don't have a myspace. How can I email her? I want to share some patterns and ideas with her.

Well, I guess just set up a my space blog. It's no more difficult than what you've done with blogspot. Let me research it and get back to you. H

About Me

United States
At the present, I would describe myself first, as a child of God and follow with wife, mother, grandmother, friend, nurse and invisible woman. If you are female age 50 or above, most likely you understand my invisibility. I've always understood my mortality, it's the loss of youthfulness I grieve. I was born in NV and raised in CA (a latch-key kid). I presently reside in central OR, a lovely place to live, but leaves me lonely for my dear friends & too far from my family. I know the love of a good man. I'm the mother of 3 wonderful adult children & Grammy to two (my "adorables"), and "Nana" to a "bonus" of 5. Nursing has been my profession for 25 yrs. I believe that politics is corrupt & that we we're living in serious times. There you have it, the sum of my 56 yrs with hopes that I've made some kind of difference on this earth for the Master.
